Hello everyone, so far this new season has shown the good and bad luck that is traditional in OCM. With a good start for Mad Max, with a 3rd place in his favorite country, he was all ready for the challenge of doing two classics and introduce himself as a good rider for such type of races. However, during the race previous to face the first target, an imprudent rider injured Mad Max.
Sadly, the kiwi captain would miss both classics and the team had to prepare an emergency plan so the season wouldn't turn into a nightmare. The recent addition from Portugal, André Pinto would be the captain for the first race and his experience was crucial to finish 3rd in a close sprint. What would had happened if Max Douglas were there as planned? We cannot know that, but one thing is sure, the race would have another order of result.
Indonesia didn't give us a good welcome, but Dylan Lombard did all what he could considering he had only one stat maxed, finishing 12th. Not so bad, but the level of competition was smaller than the first race.
Now talking about the transfers, two weeks ago Sven De Roeck arrived to Hawaii to sign his contract with the team. The former rider of DJMS is here to provide support for Mad Max and if luck by our side, to Lombard as well.
Two additions from the Hire List, Yevstigney Krupin and Ignatiu Cioran joined the squad in order to get some money from them. Krupin will join Baccala for 40k and Cioran will join Rantanplan for 62k, resulting in a small profit from both of them.
And today... do you ever heard the word Slaughter? Yeah, some slaughters were infamously famous during mankind history... Will Ferdinand Slaughter join the infamous list? He is the third man of his same profile to be found at the Hire List. Manager Armstrong prepared a virtual conference to introduce the english man to the media.
''Ferdinand is the newest recruit of the US Postal, part of the successful Scoutmen Kidney Program, we still don't know what kind of talent he has, but during our... erm... scientific investigation we will find out,'' Armstrong said with a wicked smile, and his seven yellow jerseys behind him.
The english (not) guy (fawkes) was so happy to finally join a cycling team, ''Is a dream that came true. I have trained a lot as a child and teenager, I think I am ready to try professional cycling,'' he admitted. A journalist asked him how the team spotted him and, coughing a bit; he waited an indication from Team Manager and he gave some details.
''Well... to be honest I can't... can't remember well. I guess my nerves betrayed me (coughs). But now I'm here, and that's what counts,'' he ended with a shy smile.
Despite his words, a newspaper in Birminghan reported about a missing man called Ferdinand Slaughter, who was chased down by 7 men, according to an old witness who watched what happened. Led by Agent Scott, he had to do a great effort to catch him, the final result of the undercovered operation was a fine young specimen and two agents injured.
Manager Armstrong said that was fake news and pointed his finger to another team with mysterious practices, Australian Warlord and its manager, Mr. Rustgold. Will OCMADA find the truth? We don't know but one thing is sure, ET is not happy, he wants home...

But your results are spectacle, in a very suspicious way ;)
And it wasn't me, I have to blame that newspaper.
Not us, we're professionals, we don't make public spectacles out of our recruitment activities.
